MICRO-FESTIVAL DE MARIONNETTES INACHEVÉES
Organisé par Les Sages Fous, les 13 et 14 septembre prochain, c'est à Trois-Rivières qu'aura lieu la 8e édition de ce festival qui nous permet d'assister aux prémices d'oeuvres en devenir. C'est un moment fragile et précieux de la création que sont ces premières rencontres avec les spectateurs. Au programme, des artistes du Québec, du Canada, de la France, de l'Écosse et des États-Unis.

FESTIVAL MONDIAL DES THÉÂTRES DE MARIONNETTES DE CHARLEVILLE-MÉZIÈRES
Au cours de la présente édition, quatre créations de chez nous sont au programme du plus grand festival de marionnettes au monde. Le Fil Blanc du Théâtre Incliné, La Femme Blanche de Magali Chouinard, Ignorance du Old Trout Puppet Workshop et Shavirez, Le Tsigane des Mers de Belzébrute. De plus, le Théâtre Incliné présentera son court-métrage Drenica et Alain Lavallée présentera les résultats de ses recherches autour de Seul avec mon ombre. Hélène Ducharme (Théâtre Motus) et Martin Genest (Pupulus Mordicus) présenteront leur coproduction à venir autour de Mélies, l'homme orcherstre.
L'AQM (Unima-Canada section Québec) lancera le nouveau numéro du magazine Marionnettes le 25 septembre en territoire français. Ce sera l'occasion de distribuer à un nombre incroyable de diffuseurs internationaux cet outil promotionnel en couleur et complètement bilingue.
Finalement, Magali Chouinard (commission coopération internationale) et Marthe Adam (commission de formation professionnelle), conseillères UNIMA-CANADA, participeront aux rencontres de leurs commissions afin de faire avancer plusieurs dossiers. Comme à chaque festival, les conseillers profitent des ces grands rassemblements pour faire avancer leur travaux.

FESTIVALS
MICRO-FESTIVAL OF UNFINISHED WORK IN PUPPETRY
On September 13th &14th in Trois-Riviere, Quebec, will be held the 8th edition of this beautiful festival that allows us to see puppetry work in the process. It is a fragile but oh so very inspiring moment in the creative process. This year, meet artists from Québec, Canada, France, Scotland and the USA. The festival is organized by Les Sages Fous.
FESTIVAL MONDIAL DES THÉÂTRES DE MARIONNETTES DE CHARLEVILLE-MÉZIÈRES, FRANCE
From September 20th to the 29th 2013
For this year's edition of the largest puppetry festival in the world, four productions from home are on the menu. Le Fil Blanc by Théâtre Incliné, La Femme Blanche by Magali Chouinard, Ignorance from The Old Trout Puppet Workshop and Shavirez, Le Tsigane des Mers by Belzébrute. Théâtre Incliné will also present their short film Drenica and Alain Lavallée will present the results of his research around his upcoming show Seul avec mon ombre (Alone with my shadow). Hélène Ducharme (Théâtre Motus) and Martin Genest (Pupulus Mordicus) will present their upcoming collaboration around Mélies, l'homme orcherstre.
AQM (Unima-Canada section Québec) will launch the newest edition of Marionnettes, their puppetry magazine on September 25th. This will be a wonderful occasion to hand out copies to international programmers. This latest edition is fully bilingual and in color!!
Finally, Magali Chouinard (International cooperation commission) and Marthe Adam (professional training commission), UNIMA-CANADA coucilors, will participate in varion meetins to continue the work of their group. As every year at the festival, councilors take advantage of their presence in a same city and country to meet and develop the work of their commissions.

For fans of shadow puppetry, the great Teatro Gioco Vita of Italy are at La Maison Théâtre in Montreal with their Chien Bleu. For the past 30 years, Gioco Vita has been working on shadow puppetry and pushing forward this art form. They are recognized around the world.
