Dès la fin mai, Magali Chouinard et Marthe Adam, (Conseillères UNIMA-CANADA) s'envoleront vers Chengdu afin de représenter le Canada au Congrès 2012 de l'UNIMA. Tout est presque prêt, vaccins, visas, papiers... elles auront dans leurs valises des copies de la revue de l'AQM, Marionnette, à distribuer aux divers représentants de par le monde. La traduction anglophone des articles sera disponible en ligne sur le site www.aqm.ca. Jacques Trudeau solicitera un second mandat comme Secrétaire Général de l'UNIMA lors du Congrès en tant que membre indépendant, ayant complété son mandat de 12 ans comme Conseiller du Canada.
La compagnie canadienne Panadream Theatre sera aussi présente lors du festival. Nous attendons impatiemment que tous nous rendent compte ce se séjour asiatique!

Nous avons toujours dit que faire la promotion exhaustive de nos membres était difficile... faute de ressources. C'est toujours vrai mais ce n'est pas l'envie qui nous manque. Nous tentons chaque mois de mettre à l'avant-scène des projets novateurs et inspirants qui se déroulent au pays. Faites-nous part de vos projets et nous ferons de notre mieux pour les partager avec les membres.

Zach Fraser notre comparse de l'est maintenant implanté entre Toronto et Montréal a fabriqué et dirigé les manipulateurs de cette nouvelle création du Scapegoat Carnivale Theatre qui sera présentée au Centre Segal de Montréal. Découvrez les marionnettes en répétitions.

May is a great month for international UNIMA activities. Jacques Trudeau (Unima international General Secretary) and David Smith (UNIMA-CANADA councillor), our delegates
ANA North American Commission have just returned from their annual meeting. After a meeting in Almonte, Ontario last year, the delegates met in April in Cuba as part of the Taller International de Titeres in Matanza, Cuba.
Coming the end of May, Magali Chouinard and Marthe Adam, (UNIMA-CANADA councillors) will be flying to Chengdu, China to represent Canada at the 2012 UNIMA congress. Almost everything is ready, vaccines, visas, paperwork... they will bring in their suitcase copies of the Marionnette, the AQM magazine to distribute to the international delegates. The English translation of all articles is available online at www.aqm.ca. Jacques Trudeau will sollicit a second mandate as Secretary General of UNIMA, as independant, seeing how he has completed his 12 years as Canadian Councillor.
The Canadian company Panadream Theatre will be prensent at the festival representing Canada. We will wait impatiently for their resume of the asian adventure!

We have always said thouroughly promoting the work of our members was a difficult task, seeing how we lack resources. Keep in mind that is is not the desire that we lack! We will try and highling the work of new, innovative and collaborative work taking place around the country. Share your projects with us and we will do our best share them with our members.
