CRÉATIONS

Nufonia Must Fall Live

Suite à une résidence au Banff Centre for the Arts et présenté au Luminato Festival de Toronto, Nufonia Must Fall Live de Kid Koala comprend les marionnettes fabriquées par Patrick Martel, Clea Minaker, Félix Boisvert et Karina Bleau. Ces trois derniers seront sur la route comme marionnettistes avec Kid Koala dès la mi-août. Au cours de la saison à venir, le spectacle sera en tournée en Europe jusqu'en Australie. Découvrez ici la vidéo du travail de ce spectacle où un film avec marionnette est tourné et projeté en direct sur la musique de Kid Koala. Le spectacle a été mis en scène par K.K. Barrett, récipiendaire d'un oscar (Her).

Théâtre de la Petite Marée

Le Théâtre de la Petite Marée est installé à Bonaventure depuis 1984 et crée en saison estivale. Vous avez jusqu'au 19 août pour aller voir Le merveilleux voyage de Réal de Montréal, une coproduction entre le TPM et le Théâtre des Bouches Décousues.

Jusqu'au 17 août au Dufferin Grove Park de Toronto, la compagnie Clay & Paper Theatre présente sa récente création Animal Nature.  Découvrez cette fable en papier maché sur la quête du retour à la maison.  Personnages et marionnettes géantes sont au menu depuis 20 ans pour cette compagnie phare de Toronto.

La Petite Théâtrerie continue d'accueillir les spectateurs avec Conte pour un Gus et ouvre ses portes à Lucille Prosper la semaine du 12 août. Autour du Théâtre, les spectateurs seront conviés à MP 15.12.50 ou l'image du progrès.

EN TOURNÉE AILLEURS

Peu connu ici bien qu'originaire du Canada, Mr. Bunk (Jeff Achtem) tourne dans le monde avec ses spectacles.  Nous avions eu la chance de le rencontrer à Charleville-Mézières en 2011. Cet été Sticks Stones Broken Bones a continué sa virée australienne avant de s'envoler pour le Japon. De belles tournées pour une belle folie!

C'est le moment de l'année où nos compagnons du Old Trout Puppet Workshop voyagent à l'est pour le New England Intensive.  Du 2 au 18 août, Peter Balkwill, Nan Balkwill et David Lane dirigent cette formation dans l'état du Massachussetts.

Nufonia Must Fall Live

After a residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts and presented at the Luminato Festival of Toronto, Nufonia Must Fall Live by Kid Koala includes puppets by Patrick Martel, Clea Minaker, Félix Boisvert et Karina Bleau.  The latest three will tour the show as puppeteers with Kid Koala from mid-August from Europe to Australia. Le Festival international de marionnette Puppets Up ! d'Almonte en Ontario, présentera une compilation courts films de marionnette d'une durée de 40 minutes.

Nous cherchons vos films!!

-Les films doivent être en marionnette (animation), dirigés vers la famille et amusants.  (max. 15 minutes)  
-En soumettant votre film, vous nous cédez vos droits pour la projection durant le festival.  En soumettant un film, vous confirmez que vous détenez les droits visuels et audio pour le film.
-Nous préférons les formants  .mov ou .mp4 file d'une résolution minimale de1280 x 720.
-Le cachet est de deux passes de fin de semaine au festival et le droit de se vanter !!!

Build your very own basic foam and fleece puppet character! This two day course will walk you through the construction of a foam and fleece hand and rod puppet. Using an Odd-Lot original pattern, participants will learn how to create a colorful and durable puppet character using safe materials that are readily available at craft and fabric stores in your area.

CALL FOR PROJECTS
This year, Almonte's international puppet festival, Puppets Up !, will
present an entertaining 40-minute package of short puppet films.

We are looking for your puppet film!

-The films must be puppet-centric, family friendly, and fun, max 15 min.
-When you submit a film you are giving us the rights to screen it at
the festival. 
-When you submit a film you must have the rights to all the visual and
audio in the film.
-We would prefer that the film be in a .mov or .mp4 file and have a
minimum resolution of 1280 x 720.
-Payment is limited to two free weekend passes to the festival, and bragging
rights.

Deadline for submission is Monday, July 14th, 2014.
